Air Suspension For Light Commercial Vehicles

Air suspension kits for light commercial vehicles — vans, specialist conversions, Luton bodies, low loaders and car transporters. Kits are available for the Mercedes Sprinter, Ford Transit, VW Crafter, Fiat Ducato, Renault Master, Iveco Daily, Isuzu Grafter, Citroën Berlingo and Ford Connect. Semi-air kits work alongside existing suspension — nothing removed, fully reversible. Full-air kits replace the original spring entirely for maximum adjustability.

Every kit is designed and built in the UK by On Air Suspension's in-house engineering team and is available for professional fitting at our Ongar, Essex workshop.

Why Air Suspension for Light Commercial Vehicles?

Commercial vehicles carry variable loads, often repeatedly and at or near their legal limit. Standard rear suspension is engineered as a compromise across that entire range — it performs adequately unladen but degrades under payload. The result is rear sag, reduced stability, compromised ramp angles at loading docks and increased wear on chassis components and bodywork.

A semi-air kit solves this without altering the vehicle's legal kerb weight or GVW. Air springs are added alongside the existing suspension, giving the operator on-demand control over rear ride height and load management. Raise the rear to clear a loading dock lip or ramp approach. Level the vehicle under an off-centre load. Maintain consistent ride height regardless of what's in the back.

For fleet operators, the practical benefits compound across a vehicle's working life — reduced wear, more consistent handling for drivers, and fewer operational interruptions caused by suspension-related issues. For converters and bodybuilders, a semi-air kit provides a platform that can be specified at the point of build rather than retrofitted later.

All kits are supplied ready for manual inflation. Optional compressor and automatic levelling systems are available to purchase alongside any kit.
