Fiat Ducato Ambulance OE Conversion Kit — CKA9003Z

The Continental OE air suspension system fitted to X250 and X290 Fiat Ducato, Citroën Relay and Peugeot Boxer ambulances from the factory has a well-known reliability problem. The control block, ECU, compressor and wiring loom occasionally tend to fail — and OE replacement parts are prohibitively expensive when they can be sourced at all.
 
This kit is On Air Suspension's direct solution to that problem. Designed specifically for the X250/X290 ambulance platform, it replaces every problematic element of the Continental system with proven, serviceable components while retaining the vehicle's kneeling function — the ability to lower the rear suspension for level, accessible patient loading.
 
What the kit replaces
 
The existing air tank, air springs and compressor mounting location are retained. The following components are replaced:
 
Continental compressor — replaced with an automotive grade compressor
Valve manifold — replaced with an On Air Active unit
On Air Active ECU — replaces the original control unit
Wiring harness — replaces the original loom
Single height sensor with stainless steel bracket, single height setup with ignition off lowering.
