Land Rover's Defender is known as one of the most capable and iconic 4x4s ever built — used across the world in the most arduous conditions, the Defender stands its ground against any modern 4x4 and continues to operate alongside military vehicles worldwide. The 110 and 130 wheelbase models extend that capability further with greater payload, longer load space and the room to take on working, expedition and family duties that a D90 simply can't.
 
On Air Suspension's Defender 110/130 air suspension kit transforms that capability further — improving on-road behaviour for daily use while increasing ground clearance when venturing off-road. Available with Fox or Koni shock absorbers, in mechanical, controlled and fully automatic configurations, plus specialist variants for goods-conversion and LowRider applications.
 
When your Defender is fitted with standard coil suspension, the ride is a compromise between off-road ability, load carrying and normal road use. By fitting a full 4-corner air suspension kit from On Air Suspension, ride quality is significantly improved and vehicle height can be adjusted to a pre-set position relevant to your needs. Wheel travel is optimised at every height setting, and your chosen ride height is maintained regardless of legal load.*

On Air Suspension use only high-quality materials to give you the most reliable kit for your vehicle. Our system is designed by engineers using proprietary parts designed in-house to maximise performance of the overall system. In-house designed strut towers and shock mounts provide the ideal suspension geometry for the Defender 110 and 130. Tuned air springs are designed to work in unison front to rear at each ride height for best performance.Each part has been through our in-house R&D process, designed and tested specifically for the Defender platform rather than adapted from a generic kit."
 
Bespoke air spring units are used in conjunction with Fox or Koni shock absorbers and a 4-corner / 4-sensor automatic control system. Electronic components have been durability tested and in many cases are shared with those fitted to European cars for factory-fit air suspension. The AMK compressor** is a highly robust unit with low noise and vibration.

Fox or Koni — Choose Your Setup
 
The Land Rover Defender 110/130 air suspension kit comes complete with all necessary parts, is straightforward to install and requires minimal drilling during fitment — including air tank, airlines, brackets, compressor, ECU, controls, air springs and your choice of Fox or Koni shock absorbers.
 
Rear-Only or Full 4-Corner?
The 110 and 130 carry their loads over the rear axle — tow bars, expedition builds, load beds, camper conversions. If your priority is managing rear load, restoring ride height when laden and levelling for towing, the rear-only kit (AKF1730Z) addresses it at a fraction of the cost. If you want height adjustment, ride improvement and levelling across the whole vehicle — access height, off-road clearance, constant ride height at all four corners — the full 4-corner system is the complete solution. What Is the Goods Conversion Variant?
The Goods Conversion kits (AKF1930Z rear-only, AKF1830Z 4-corner) use a stiffer-rate rear air spring with revised piston geometry, developed for Defenders converted to heavy goods or working-vehicle use — logging rigs, plant carriers, heavily loaded utility builds. The standard kits suit standard passenger and family use; the Goods Conversion variants are a matched specialist offering for vehicles that spend their lives loaded.
