Mercedes-Benz X-Class Rear Full-Air Suspension Kit

The Mercedes-Benz X-Class shares its underpinnings with the Nissan Navara NP300 — and shares the same problem. Load it up, hook on a trailer or run it at payload and the standard coil rear suspension compresses under the weight. Rear sag, compromised geometry and a deteriorating ride quality follow. For an X-Class being used as a genuine working vehicle, that's a daily frustration.
 
This rear full-air kit from On Air Suspension replaces the standard coil rear suspension entirely. Air pressure takes over from coil spring rate — the system maintains near-constant ride height, geometry and handling regardless of load condition. It's a complete rear air suspension upgrade engineered for the shared NP300/X-Class platform.
 
Fitting is available at our Ongar, Essex workshop — call 01277 552030 to arrange. Parts are available for nationwide next day delivery if you're fitting the kit yourself or using a local installer.

Three variants are available:
 
AKF1200Z — Manual inflate kit, excluding automatic controls. Purchase with the On Air Active auto levelling controls kit for automatic height management.
AKF1201Z — Heavy duty manual inflate kit, excluding automatic controls. Purchase with the On Air Active auto levelling controls kit for automatic height management.
AKF1301Z — Heavy duty, includes On Air Active single height sensor auto controls.
Heavy duty variants are recommended for vehicles regularly operating at or near maximum payload.

Every kit is engineered in-house at our Ongar, Essex workshop — designed from scratch, prototyped using 3D printing, and validated through physical installation and testing before it reaches a customer.
