AL-KO T279E Single Convoluted Air Spring — ASL2005N / ASL2006N / ASL2007N
The T279E is a single convoluted air spring fitted as standard on AL-KO semi-air suspension systems. If you can see T279E, 10158 or 420128 marked on your existing rubber bellow, this is the correct replacement page.
Important — check your mounting configuration before ordering. The rubber bellow is identical across all three variants, but the top and bottom ring mountings differ. The part number on the rubber alone is not sufficient to identify the correct replacement — you need to confirm whether your existing spring has studs or threaded holes at each end. Use the images and descriptions below to identify your variant.
Variants
ASL2005N — Studs both ends Top and bottom mounting rings both fitted with studs. AL-KO OE Gart air spring. AL-KO references: 420128, 10158.
ASL2006N — Threaded holes both ends Top and bottom mounting rings both fitted with threaded holes (blind nuts). AL-KO OE Gart air spring.
ASL2007N — Studs one end, threaded holes the other One mounting ring fitted with studs, the other with threaded holes. AL-KO OE Gart air spring. AL-KO references: 420284, 10158, 22048909.
A note on internal bump stops
Some AL-KO semi-air systems include an internal bump stop inside the air spring. It is not possible to determine from the outside whether a bump stop is present — this only becomes apparent when the existing spring is removed. If a bump stop is found during removal, it should be taken out of the old spring and refitted into the new one. The bump stop is reusable and is not included with this replacement spring.
