Fiat Ducato / Peugeot Boxer / Citroën Relay — Rear Semi-Air Suspension Kit

Is your motorhome, campervan or Ducato-based vehicle sitting lower at the rear than it should? Under load — passengers, water, batteries, gear — the standard rear suspension on the X250 and X290 platform has limited capacity to compensate. The rear drops, clearance reduces, and ramp angles that were manageable unladen become a problem loaded.
 
On Air Suspension's rear semi-air kits for the Ducato platform work alongside the existing suspension — nothing is removed, and the original setup is fully retained. You gain on-demand rear height control and load levelling without altering the vehicle's legal kerb weight or GVW.
 
These kits are also a likely requirement if you are planning to have your motorhome up-plated. On Air Suspension can supply all technical documentation needed to support the up-plating process. Up-plating itself is carried out by a specialist third-party company.

    AKS2022Y — Coachbuilt motorhome The comfort kit for coachbuilt Ducato, Boxer and Relay motorhomes. Larger air spring for the proportions and load characteristics of a coachbuilt conversion.

    AKS2013Y — Panel van or campervan conversion The standard kit for panel van and campervan conversions. Suited to the tighter fitment and lighter load profile of a van conversion.

    Inflation & Controls

    ​

    Every kit is supplied ready for manual inflation — air is introduced via a standard tyre inflator or workshop compressor through the included inflation panel. No on-vehicle compressor is required for basic operation.

    For a more permanent setup, we supply three levels of control kit designed specifically for the Ducato platform:

    Manual gauge panel — no compressor An in-dash dual gauge panel giving independent pressure readout for each air spring. Inflate and deflate via a pump through the included Schrader valves.     Analogue gauge kit with compressor An on-vehicle compressor with dual analogue gauges. Two panel options — in-dash fitment or flexible mount at seat base or garage area.     Digital display kit with compressor An on-vehicle compressor with dual digital display panel, bespoke fitment to the Ducato dash.     For fully automatic load levelling, all kits are compatible with the On Air Active Advanced Air Suspension Control System (CKA9001Z) — a single height sensor monitors and adjusts ride height continuously without any manual input.
